Speakers confirmed as industry moves into new territoriesREGINA, SASKATCHEWAN - September 13th, 2005 - The Canadian Hemp Trade Alliance/ Alliance Commerciale Canadienne du Chanvre (CHTA/ACCC) will be holding its 2005 Conference and Annual General Meeting in Winnipeg, Manitoba on September 29th-30th, 2005 at The Greenwood Inn.
This year's event is split into two parts: CHTA's AGM and Business Meeting will be held on the evening of September 29th, and Annual Conference will be held on the full day of Sept. 30th.
"2005 has been a striking year for industrial Hemp in Canada," says Arthur Hanks, Executive Director, CHTA. "In response to strong prices and robust demand we have seen licensed hemp acreage jump almost to 20,000 acres, both conventional and certified organic. Opportunities are being seized with hemp and this year's conference will have information about all the borders we are crossing: in trade, in food nutrition, fibre development, and the regulatory environment."
Once again, the CHTA annual conference remains an excellent conference opportunities for entrepreneurs, farmers, businesses and scientists involved in the Canadian and North American hemp industry.

The CHTA AGM Members Meeting, including elections for Board of Directors, will be held in the evening of Thursday September 29th starting at 7 PM. The Annual Conference will be held on Friday September 30th, beginning at 9 AM. Doors and registration begins at 8 am. The Conference will include a hemp lunch and snacks.
Conference fee is $75 for CHTA/ACCC members and 100 $ for non-members. Sponsorship opportunities are available. Ticket Sales and Preregistration opens August 30th.
