Haliburton 4C's Food Bank

4C's Food Bank

One of the really nice things about seeing all of the hemp news that comes in from the news clipping services is that I get to see really neat stuff like this press release from Fleming College: Haliburton Food Bank Takes Up Residence in Straw Bale Building.

Not only did a wonderful building get built for the Haliburton 4C's Food Bank and Lily Ann Thrift Store, but it was done in a sustaiable manner! The hemp straw bales for this project were supplied by Moorcroft Hemp Farms.

Blackspot Sneaker V2

I found out about the new Blackspot Sneaker V2 from the story "Walk a mile in our shoes" in tomorrow's edition of The Age. They are made from organic hemp, of course. You can order your own pair here.
